Author Central Station is the premier site for local authors to connect directly with customers. We open doors in malls, allowing authors to sell signed copies of their books, build relationships, expand their social media and email contacts, and sell e-books and audiobooks all in one location. We are constantly increasing our mall selection and will be in a mall near you real soon. ACCEPTABLE BOOKS
Dear author, we strive to maintain a light, fun, engaging, and educational tone in our content. Our malls are seeking children’s books, YA, memoirs, how-to books, cookbooks, business books, and fiction—any book that’s enjoyable, family-friendly, and both intellectually and socially stimulating.
We do not accept any books with sexually explicit content or photos on the cover. Such books will be rejected immediately, along with any that we find to be controversial or offensive regarding politics, religion, or cultural issues that may be inappropriate for our audience. Before certain books can be sold in our malls, they must undergo a review process and will be marked as “pending approval,” which can take up to 48 hours. Once the vetting is complete, you will receive a notification on your profile page indicating the status of your request. It will either show 'Accepted' or 'Rejected.' If accepted, you may proceed and schedule a book signing. If rejected, remove the book and only schedule books that ACS approves.
You can upload all your books for sale on the ACS site; however, not all books, such as those deemed “unacceptable,” can be sold in our malls.
We value the opportunity for our authors to gain new followers, friends, and sales, and we want to ensure that potential customers feel safe and can benefit from the authors as well.
